Turn Outdoor Faucets On With Caution
Before you turn on your outdoor faucets for the first time since winter:
- Know where your main shut-off valve is located. This is just in case you have an emergency issue when turning it on you can shut your water off without causing a lot of damage to the interior of your home.
- Turn on slowly
- Have someone on the other side of the wall/basement before you turn it on. The majority of hose faucets break inside the house. This way if there is an issue, they can quickly alert you to turn it off.
We hope all your pipes survived the winter. If you find you are having issues with your outdoor faucet, please don’t hesitate to give us a call we are available to you 24/7 (740) 217-0450.
